My Lord and my King!... Ruler over everything!... He’s mine and I am His!... when everyone else saw the worst in me!... He sees the best in me!... folks wanted to write me off!... thought I would never make it!... and my God!... saw the best in me!... He overlooked my flaws!... dressed me in the best clothes and new shoes!... my Lord took my hand!... and lead me through the forest!... no danger touched me!... and harm never came close!... I walked with peace!... I saw wonders never seen before!... and it started with the touch of the new day!... I could feel the excitement!... for joy was on the way!... hand in hand!... for you see!... He’s mine!... and I am His!... it doesn’t matter what I did!... others around me!... He only sees me for who I am!... others see the worst in me!... He wipes my tears!... He’s close as any brother!... He’s Father and Mother who cares for me!... I’m glad He’s mined!... I pray and worship Him every day!... Lord my King!... keep me close!... when I stray!... pull me back and lead me on the path of righteousness!... right every wrong I make and when I fall!... let yur grace catch me!... never letting me hit the ground!... when I hurt!... when tears well my eyes!... heal with yur touch!... touch me Lord Jesus!... and keep me close!... Lord Jesus when I’m blinded by the light!... let it be U!... or it’s U!... I trail for U’re mine!... and I am yur’s!... all for yur glory!... I will do anything!... just to be with U!... Lord please hear my heart cry!... I will travel near or far!... all for yur glory!... whatever U ask of me!... whatever it takes!... keep me close!... I want to stay in yur presence!... it’s where I want to be!... there’s joy!... there’s peace!... where U are!... all for yur glory!... wheew!...
By the love of Christ!... my Lord and my Savior!... I thank U for what U are doing in our lives!... and about to do!... like Paul said!... when I’m weak!... U my God!... U’re strong!... I ask that U give me strength to carry on!... and forevermore!... until we can gather again!... I trust that U will go before us and take us to the next level!... in the Most Powerful!... Matchless name of Christ Jesus!... for this I pray!...
