My Shield and Shelter!...

My new day is in sight!... I can earnestly contend to just stay grounded!... for it’s U Lord God!... who’s blessed me with the new day!... while I wait on the morning light!... the enemy moves in and I’m surrounded with a weary heart!... today I walk with the words of yur promises!... for U’re the strength I need!... U are my life!... my faithful defense and cover!... my shield and shelter!... Lord my God!... U cared for my heart and kept all harms away!... while crossed over my midnight!... it was by yur love!... that kept me safe!... Savior!... and Shepherd!... U’re my life Lord God!... and my strength!... when the warfare rages over my day!... the toll it takes!... my fragile heart and my spirit stay strong!... Lord God!... I will lean on U when my flesh wants to surrender even when it’s hard to wait!... I’ll depend on yur word and believe what U say!... Lord God!... at my feet!... Lord God!... U set the words of yur promises!... the favor!... new mercies!... and grace everywhere I can see!... when I’m distressed!... I call yur name!... from yur throne!... U heard my cry!... U rescued me before any harm or evil!... and stand by my side!... no tears!... only joy!... plenty of happiness!... and yur love!... by my side!... yes U are strong and mighty!... yes U are my burden carrier!... and U take my heavy loads!... for when I’m weak!... Lord God!... U are strong!... U are my life!... bigger than the universe!... bigger than the sun and the stars!... and bigger than the thing that can tear me apart!... for this I know Lord God!... in all of earth and heaven!... U’re bigger and greater!... for U’re my Shield and my Shelter!... wheew!...

Now faith is the substance for things to hope for!... I got an attitude of gratitude!... so grateful I am!... bowed on bending knees!... giving thanks for the peace over my midnight!... and the dawning of the new day!... Still waiting on the morning light!... eager Yes!... but patiently I stand!... for my time must work with His time!... He’s the God who brought me over the horrors of my midnight!... and blessed me with the words of His promises for the new day!... He will guide my feet!... toward the grace and new mercies He’s set in front of me!... for I have so many things to be thankful for!... when no one else cared!... His love!... Yur love!... my God!... was always there!... Lord God!... it is So important that I can depend on U!... the barren lands!... forest of overbearing trees!... even when hope looks scarce!... all U do is throw yur arms around me!... U tell me!... U’re in control!... for U will see me through!... every time without fail!... U have lifted my head!... when I had the look of lost!... when I walk into a dark room!... U’re the light!... when the rains come!... lightning strikes with the thunder roars!... U wave yur hand and quiet every storm I can see!... U add peace!... and yur love!... and this Lord my God!... People have many gods!... I have only one God!... He’s King of kings!... He’s good!... as U can see!... everybody can taste and see!... He’s the victory!... here I’m bowed!... to give glory and my highest praise!... to the one true God!... He’s the one who kept me safe over the horrors of my midnight!... blessed me with the new day!... He placed new mercies and granted favor!... all of this for the love He has for me!... Lord God!... guide my feet this day!... by the words of yur promises!... let the thorns and gates along the way!... not hinder or obstruct the road I take!... continue to keep yur love wrapped around me!... even if rain or the burdens of the new day!... tries to impede the way!... when I anger!... give me peace!... when I hunger!... feed me!... and when I reach out for yur help!... be there to guide my feet!... for every trial U brought me through!... I shout thank U my Everlasting King!... for U Lord Jesus!... U’re the King of Kings!... U make my life good!... and beautiful!... I shine when the day is dimmed!... I glow in my sadness!... I shine for the world to see!... just how good U’ve been to me!... I glow over!... whatever burdens I have!... with U by my side!... I overcome the world!... for that’s just how big U are!... my bible says!... Greater is He that lives inside me!... for I know I can do All things!... through U!... Christ my Jesus!... Take the wheel!...

When life has me cast down!... when I feel nothing!... or barely can breathe!... my heart is crushed!... my soul has little or no joy to feel!... I look up toward Heaven!...  knowing God is in control!... when I am at my capacity!... and driving through my day!... fear and the darkness headed my way!... I throw my hands up!... and shout out loud!... God my Christ Jesus!... is in control!... and for He will lead my way!... I let Him!... my God!... take over!... take the wheel!... when life has me down!... and the days are blank with no joy!... no delight!... I may be cast down!... but I still thank U Lord Jesus!... for keeping me!... I tried to carry as I was okay!... I smiled without conviction!... my conversations were insipid!... what really was going on!... my burdens were heavy!... my day had little or no light!... and I knew the only way to pass my present!... turn it over to U Lord God!... my burden bearer!... heavy load sharer!... the fixer!... fixer of everything!... U take the wrongs and make them right!... U raise the shade when there’s darkness!... and turn on the lights!... U come like the rush of wind!... but soft enough to mend my fragile heart!... U added yur peace!... peace with understanding!... turning tears to tears of joy!... opened doors of plenty!... and more than enough!... uplifting my head!... when I was torn with sadness!... broken... U fixed me!... messed up tore up!... U placed yur loving arms of care around me!... and added joy with my tears!... whispered just to remind me!... He’s always near!... never to leave me or forsake me!... when my tears came!... I bowed and shouted out loud!... thank U Lord Jesus!... thank U for loving me forever more!... wheew!...

I will find a way!...

For it’s Christ my Lord and King I serve!... He’s the Holy one!... and the only one who can provide everything I need!... He provides the love and understanding when I am faced with the challenge of my day!... He protects me over my midnights and awards me a new day!... He’s the Holy one!... who looks beyond my faults!... when I thought I was going to lose my mind!... I journeyed long!... I lost my way!... I feel now I’ve been saved!... I had been searching for so long!... what a load I had to carry!... but I will find a way to live!... I lifted my hands!... fell to my knees!... my first words to say!... I thank U Lord my Jesus!... for I’m here and I know it was not by my own!...  U awarded me with yur grace and mercy!... along with favor!... captured by yur love!... to see my way through!... to find my way out of the burden lands!... over the mountains that blocked my way!... yur love covered me over the night and no light to see but U!... I was determined I will find a way!... to worship!... when it looked pointless!... U Lord God!... made sure I walked toward my purpose!... my heart gets low!... but I find a way to give U praise!... through the years!... I’ve lost so much!... lately it’s been a face of tears!...  the things I used to love!... somehow have been misplaced!... searching here and going nowhere!... Lord God!... Most Holy God!... here I’m bowed!... arms stretched wide!... crying out to U!... U lead the way for my new day!... U!... I will follow!... even though my heart is low!... even through the rains to come!... it’s yur love Lord God!... for I know U will keep me!... and lead my way!... wheew!...

Why me!...

The burdens of my day!...  the walls I tear down just to walk through!... when tears run down my face!... and I smile just to cover my sadness!... I asked why me Lord!... what have I ever done to deserve not even one!... of the pleasures I’ve known!...  please tell me Lord God!... what did I ever do!... that was worth loving U!... or the kindness U’ve shown me!... I'm bowed on bending knees!... my heart cries pouring out to U!... Lord help me Jesus!... I’ve wasted so help me Lord Jesus!... I know what I am!... now that I know!... Lord Jesus!... let it be by yur will!... let it be this new day!... help me Lord!... my soul is in yur hand!... this new day!... try me Lord!... if U think there’s a way!... that I could ever repay all I’ve taken from U!... just maybe Lord God!... I could show someone else!... for what I’ve been through!... or just show my scars!... for I’m on my way back to U!... I had to go through the barren land!... push my way through the storms and heavy rain!... help me Lord Jesus!... keep me strong!... I’ve wasted so much!... so help me!... for I know what I am!... I can’t carry heavy burdens!... when I can’t sleep at night!... I must have yur peace with me!... yur love and understanding!... I know what I am!... and I know that I need U Lord Jesus!... so help me as I face my new day!... walk with me when I go through the curves or hills!... I am loved!...

So much in our world we deal with!... there’s cancer and many diseases!... what shall we say to these things!... first!... I give our God!... thanks for the new day!... He placed my feet in the land of the living!... and safe from the harms of the horrors of my midnight!... now!... what shall we say to these things!... there’s so much hurt!... broken esteem!...  fragile hearts!... and so many questions but still one answer!... only one!... if God be for me!... who can be against me!... if God is with me!... it was He that touched me with the new morning light!... it was He that!... placed purpose and the words of His promises!... over the path!... that He guides!... if no one knows me!... Still His heart adores me!... I’m safe!... Lord my God!... thank U for keeping me safe!... for it’s yur heart that adores me!... I’m safe!... I am loved!... I am healed!... all by the grace of U my God!... when violence!... harms!... threats of kill!... how do we say to people!... so many hurting with broken esteem!... and questions not answered!... but still there is one answer!... still there’s U our God!... for if He’s for me!... who can be against me!... for whom shall I fear if He’s with me!... even if no one knows me!... Still!... His heart adores me!... I’ve crossed the burdened lands!... faced the deep seas!... mountains stood in front of me!... and our God Almighty!... guided me through!... He kept me safe!... no harm to bear!... the tears were tears of joy!... I am safe!... I am loved!... and His heart adores me!... what can wash away my sins!... nothing but the blood of my Jesus!... what can make me whole again!... mend my broken heart!... pick me up when I’ve been knocked down!... Nothing but the blood of Jesus!... and here’s my close!... Oh precious is the flow!... that makes me white as snow!... for there’s no other found I know!... nothing but the blood of Jesus!... that I could do!... Nothing else works!... nothing else that I could say!... No price!... that I could pay!... it’s Nothing but the blood of Jesus!... it was nothing but yur blood my Lord Jesus!... I am Safe!... I am Heal!... I am Loved!... wheew!

I must admit!... not always I like to wait!... but it’s now I’m going to start!... for it’s never too late!... I will wait for U to see me through!... abide in yur word for I know it’s true!... I’m going to stand still Lord God!... for U know my heart!... my rush was to be obedient in yur word!... but now I’m standing still until U tell me to move!... I’m going to wait Lord God!... until I hear from U!... my prayer is!... help me to wait!... for U to see me through!... abide in yur word!... and I know it’s true!... I just have to stand still and wait!... patiently!... and help me to seek yur face!... when I pray!... lend yur ear!... while I’m waiting!... I will be anxious for nothing!... and continue serving U!... U touched my new day!... the light has begun to give way to the new morning light!... at the touch of yur hand!... yur grace and new mercies cover's all I can see!... just as U did over my midnight!... in yur loving arms of care!... I will continue to praise U!... this new day!... and patiently wait until I hear from U!... not to try it on my own!... but just wait!... stand still till U tell me to move!... for it will be U Lord God!... that will tell me to move!... U brought me through the valley!... U lifted my burdens!... and opened doors that had me blocked!... Lord God!... I must and I will wait on U!... Deep in my thoughts… the wonders of my day!... and first to say!... Jesus U’re the center of my joy!... for all that’s good and perfect comes from U!... Lord bowed here on my knees!... praising U!... for there’s no other place I rather be!... Lord God!... U’re the heart of my contentment!... and the hope for all I do!... Lord God!... my night was dark!... but U provided the light for my new day!... U guided my feet!... around the dangers and the harms!... that could have been dangerous to me!... U wrapped yur loving arms of protection around me!...  when the arrows were pointed at me!... it is my hope Lord God!... for U to keep me close to U!... when I lose my direction!... or when the clouds block my way to see!... U’re the compass for my way!... my fire and the light!... Lord God!... I know that it will be U!... that will make everything alright!... even when the nights are long and cold!... in my sadness!... U bring the joy!... the laughter that shatters all of my fears!... U take my hand!... and lead me through the darkness and the dim lights!... when I’m alone Lord God!... I can tell U’re always near!... my day had challenges!... I overcome!... my night was headed to trouble!... U stood up my side!... and whispered!... fear not!... U will never leave me or forsake me!... for yur hand is there for me to hold!... Now!... I asked!... Lord my God!... why U so good to me!... His answer was!... you’re on yur knees!... and when you call on me!... I’m here to answer!... my heart was busy to say thank U Lord!... for not only what U do for me!... but most of all Who U are!... U’re good and so perfect!... when I worry!... U replaced with ease!... when I don’t see the path in front of me!... U shine the light!... Lord God!... again I say!... U’re good!... and perfect!... my contentment!... Lord God!... U’re all the hope for all I do!... when I was in my valley!... I found pleasure!... for it was the simple things in life!... and when I reached out to U!... U pulled me close!... and the whisper was simple!... I’ve heard U say it before!... for when troubles or challenges of the day!... rush like streams!... hear yur voice!... and clearly it says!... let yur peace guide my feet!... and yur protection will be every step I take!... my head stilled bowed!... all I could say!... as so many times before!... I thank U Lord Jesus!... for all U do for me!... wheew!...

Jehovah!... the Almighty!... speak into my new day!... make the darkness go away!... for my praise!... and my prayer!... is for this day!... show yur grace more than ever before!... show yur mercy continue to be greater and more!... Lord my God!... keep yur loving arms wrapped around me!... let every step I take!... guided by the words of yur promises!... let me reach beyond what I see!... let me lead by strengthening my faith!... for it’s U!... Jehovah I praise!... keep my foe’s silence!... and let me have peace in Zion!... for there is no other God!... like U!... or even comes close!... just to say!... U’re the Peace!... when dark skies and storms come!... U quieten the roars of thunder!... and keep away the strikes!... keep yur eyes on me for my new day!... for there is no other God like U!... U’re the Rock!... U’re the Peace!... and the Comforter of my Soul!... keep yur glory over this new day as U did yesterday!... but today!... this day!... I call on yur name!... Jehovah!... and praise U more today Lord God!... than my yesterday!... for the love and kindness!... for the peace and understanding!... and the path U set at my feet!... the path contains patience!... the path contains consistency in prayer!... the path contains wisdom for how to overcome it all in prayer!... I praise!... I praise with the highest of praises I can give!... for God is Almighty!... He’s  Wonderful in everything He does!... for He looked at the bottom and found me!... I feel like praising!... God’s been good to me!... so will I!... My Lord!... but what measure could I amount to yur desire!... for U’re the one Who never leaves the one behind!... so I shout about it!... I dance about it!...  Lord my Master!... Ruler and King!... forever I will serve and worship U!... U’re the God of creation!... there at the start before the beginning of time!... there’s no point of reference for U spoke to the dark and fleshed out the wonder of light!... just as the light for my new day!... Lord God!... as U speak!... a hundred billion galaxies and stars are born!... too many for me to count!... So Lord God!... the only light that matters!... is the light U give!... with the vapor of yur breath!... planets are born!... and the stars worship U!... and so will I!... U placed joy over my head!... for I can see everything U made!... the burning stars signal fire of yur grace!... so I may see!... if all of creations sings yur praises!... Lord God!... and so will I!... I was at my bottom!... looking up!... I experienced the troubles I have gone through!... I saw the car that almost took me out!... even broken relationship!... U mended the hurt and eased the pain!... Lord God!... if I haven’t thanked U!... let me thank U again!... for U’re a God of yur promise!... U don’t speak in vain!... no voids or empty words!... Lord God!... once U have spoken!... all nature!... all of the science!... follow yur sound of voice!... and I follow by worshiping yur Holy name!... I am glad about the change in my life!... I’m glad U touched me and arranged me!... here I am again!... another week!... U pushed me through!... and here I’m bowed!... on my bending knees!... my cry is Glory to yur name!... for U have been better than good to me!... I can’t thank U enough!... U turned my sadness to gladness!... U placed rainbows over my head!... in the sky so I could see the treasures at the end of my day!... Lord God!... When I thought I was going to die!...

I was walking through the wilderness!... the dry land and the waste around the edges!... there were no disappointments or fright!... It was all joy that!... And not my place of choice!... I skipped yesterday’s worship!... but my praise is double for today!... for the blessings and the new mercies headed my way!... piled up!... overflowed!... God’s grace Rolls over all I can see!... His love for me today carries on!... I thank U Lord!... I had thoughts of the past I crossed over!... how yur grace and mercies had pulled me in!... I felt the joy!... so happy how U pulled me through!... U reached down and grabbed me!... when I thought I was going to die!... U took the grim and the fear!... and stayed by my side!... I realized that it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor!... there is no limit to where yur love can go!... it reaches the highest heights!... the lowest lows!... Lord God!... U sent yur precious Son from Heaven!... who died here on earth!... man was drowning in sin!... and U set us free!... Lord God!... my Jesus!... when I think about what yur love has done for me!... when I think about all U do and what U have already done!... Lord God!... I shout praises every day!...
